I left my heart in San Francisco
It has been insane how busy I am these days. Working while still going out to enjoy this beautiful city I live in.
Yesterday I went to see a painting show at school, then off to watch Vertigo at Union Square for free. In between this was frantic rushing around the city on the bus as Love Fest was going on making all the buses detour downtown. I found out that Love Fest originated in Berlin! It was amazing to watch Vertigo outdoors here because it's set in...San Francisco. Having the sounds of downtown, cable cars and the lights -- lovely. It made me remember why I love this city. The crowd chuckled when Union Square popped up briefly onscreen.
Today I worked at the Dragon Boat Festival passing out granola parfaits to hoards of mostly Chinese people. I was too late to see Hardly Strictly the Bluegrass Festival going on at Golden Gate Park. Oh well. There's always something going on in this city.
