   I had a crush on Pinski from Salute Your Shorts! when I was little and then independently came to love his (and Jenny Lewis') band, Rilo Kiley. Got to take my 16 yo brother to the show, and met all of the Kileys...he was actually impressed. And Blake was so weird and nice.

   I don't know why this one is still up here. Yeah, Domestica was a great album, but.... other than that....

   She had it all, byt the standards of the time, and chose to put her kids to bed and stick her head in a gas oven. It reminds me that I'm not the only one who has felt unsatisfied no matter how good things are, and reminds me what tragic (or romantic?) end can come of it.
