for all who didn't hear, i got into U of M. Yipee. Ok, I'll stop being excited now......:)
Spring break it officially 1/2 hr away from ending. sad. it's a shame i have to work tonight.
It was fun though. We went to Minneapolis to see my cousin and aunt and uncle. Twas tres fun. Went to IKEA for the first time ever! I love that store. bought a rug *eep*!
Also got to see the Minnesota Orchestra. That was....interesting. Good music, however too much of a good thing can be bad. Not saying it was a bad concert, but when you sit through a 45 min song, and then realize that it's only intermission and that the next song is also 45 min, that can be kind of tiring. We heard Don Quixote (w/ cello solo), by strauss and another couple by schostakovitch. Not to mention that it started at 8 pm after a 8 hr drive and an added one hour with the time change. My head was bobbing and my butt was falling asleep. oh well. They were comp tickets thanks to my uncle who is good friends with the first chair, second violin. Yea to knowing someone who knows someone!
All in all, it was a good break.
