On a Mission

Because I need to remind myself, here's the Mission I posted soon after the New Year:

I will re-learn to say "No."

I will no longer let others make decisions for me.

I will no longer acquiesce to others' whims without a good reason of my own to do so.

I will no longer say "yes" just to keep the peace.

And, additions to the Mission:

I will learn to stand

I'll certainly keep you posted... with any luck (and lots of work!) I'll have a new place to move into in fairly short order. I'll probably need help with that.

No, you aren't a monster. But you do need to quit feeding that monster you're nurturing in your head... he's doing you a lot of damage, and it's fucking painful to watch, especially knowing that there's nothing *I* can do to make it stop.
