Helena had tried to budge the locked door for a few minutes after waking up. Finally figuring out that it just wouldn't open, she swiped the key off her bed. She tried it on the locked door without much hope of it working. Then she tried it on the smaller door, and wasn't surprised to hear it click open

Hey, Helena! [And America is standing there with buttons for eyes and everything, which looks a bit odd since he has glasses on as well. Oh well.] How are you today? Do you need anything?

[helena_campbell]

Finally, someone I know, America you're-

[Sees his eyes.]

You've got button eyes.. Let me guess. The other America?

[idkmybfftony]

Nope, I'm still America! The only one, anyway. [His head tilts, as if he's thinking, though his smile's still there.] Is it too odd for you to call me that? I mean, if it makes you feel more comfortable, you could just call me 'Alfred'!

[helena_campbell]

[And she finds that so funny.]

Your.. [laughing loudly] Your name is Alfred? I never knew that. That doesn't fit you at all, really.

[When she gets back she is so calling America Alfred.]

[Real America might pout. Or flip out since his real name is awesome and it was better than England's or.. anyone else's. But since this is Other America, he smiles since he made Helena laugh and nods a few times.]

I guess not. Well, feel free to call me whatever you wish, then!

[helena_campbell]

No, no, I'm calling you Alfred. [Another light laugh.]

What is it with this place? Hong Kong is having a huge fireworks show. He just comes out of nowhere and he talks to me like we've been friends for the longest time.

And you're, well. You're actually not so full of yourself.

This is your place. Just for you.

[He laughs.] I realized how much it bothers you when I do that, so I won't do that anymore. Besides.. [He smiles, which is a little creepy with those eyes but.] You're the most important one here.

Am I? Really. Would you, say... hop on one foot? Or cook me something English? [She's just teasing here. Doesn't really expect him to do any of it.]

Whatever would make you happy. Which should I do first?

[helena_campbell]

[Laugh.] That's just. Scary, really. Don't do either of them.

[Thinking a little bit before turning to look at him.]

You know, my drawings were moving in their papers. And I looked out the window and the garden was so alive. Everything here is so bizzare and... so exciting.

Alfred, I want to do something fun. I want another adventure.

[idkmybfftony]

[Somewhere, America sneezes.]

Sure! Let's go find an adventure! [Of course, Helena's gonna have to lead.]

[helena_campbell]

[She turns on the spot, trying to think of something they could do.]

I've got it! We.. we could find the rabbit hole, and rescue Alice. And then I can bring her back through that little door. Would that work? I mean, I can do anything here, right? I could save her.

[The smile doesn't fade, not even for a second. Which probably isn't the most comforting thing to happen. However, he nods, and his soulless button eyes almost sparkle.]

Of course! That's a great idea! C'mon, I know the way!

[And so he begins to lead her. Of course, his version of saving Wonderland is a bit different than her's.. but she doesn't need to know that yet.]

[She follows along, excited to finally save Alice, and thinking about how everyone would react if Alice came through the little door with her.]
