"That doll of me was sort of cool."
[Helena is sitting in the kitchen, the camera placed on the counter, facing her. In front of her is a half finished bowl of cereal. The rain pounds on a window behind her.]
"Anyway, I'm keeping it in my room from now on. The mansion's being pretty nice about it. I used to make my own dolls, and I never really thought about making one of myself. Of course I don't anymore, because I'm really too old for it."
[Nevermind the fact that if you looked in her room you'd find home made sock puppets littering the floor. Also, nevermind the fact that behind her right now is the doll of herself. It's on another counter, sitting with its head leaning against a cookie jar. It's black button eyes are turned toward Helena. She doesn't notice.]
"It's kind of scary after a while, actually, because just making a doll of someone out of nowhere is really odd. Maybe it's to make up for that horrible rain. Did everyone get a doll? Maybe it's not that scary, then."
[She gets up to put away the cereal. She passes by the cookie jar, accidentally coevering it from view. She still doesn't see the doll. When the jar comes back into view, the doll has disappeared.]
[A few seconds later, Helena turns off the camera.]
