An Update
It has been a while since I last posted, quite a long while actually..
First the very good news: I got my permanent residence card renewed for ten years. We submitted the documents and it took them about ten or so days to process it and send back the card.
I am thinking of getting US citizenship. Both SA and the US allows dual citizenship so that is not an issue. I will be eligible after 17th January next year. It means taking citizenship classes, and the only ones available are at the Central library in Portland (Multnomah County). Also passing the citizenship test and paying the fee.
The Project Management Certificate course is finished and my certificate came in the mail today. The certificate for each module got handed out in class, which was interesting. I have been looking at jobs and actually filled in two applications today. It took nearly five hours.... I so need a new job. I can barely stand to go the current one.
I am working on some stuff, but since most of it is meant for people reading this I cannot say too much about it.
I need to finish the Survey of Needlework class. I have been receiving requests to teach it, which is kinda hard if the handout is not done...
We are not going to An Tir/West War. Instead my husband is taking my to the St Paul's rodeo on Thursday, on Friday we will be endeavouring with the rest of the Hospitallers to blow up Randall and Leah's corner of Portland (at least everybody else will, I detest fire works and usually keep my distance) and Saturday we are making bezants with the lovely Liadian. And Sunday we will be replacing the printer.
