Life is still mostly good. Boring in some ways, but good. I am currently working on my CV (or resume). After reading the information sent to me by Sam I realised that it needs a lot of work. All the information is there, but not in a useful way for here.
I have also been reading the Needlework of Mary, Queen of Scots by Margaret Swain. I have coveted this book for a while, and finally found it at Powells. My very nice husband also gave me Old-time Tools and Toys of Needlework by Gertrude Whiting. It was first published in 1928 and is an amusing read. While her historical accuracy is somewhat dubious, it does give a glimpse of a different world and time.
And most of my crafty efforts had been directed at finishing the needle books that I promised Amice for Their Majesties. Or knitting lace. The lavender scarf is about half way done.
And planning some new garb. After grocery shopping tonight I may still be sufficiently inspired to actually cut something.
