Bar Gemels was good. I had a lot of fun. I reswore to Emma, the new baroness of Terra Pomaria. She had individual interviews with each of the sargents beforehand. And I got to hang out with my friends and do nothing for most of the day. And made some new friends. Robert had a really good day fighting. he drew just knights for all his fights and was the only unbelted fighter in the final four. A nd the only people he lost to all day were the two knights in the final. Seems like all the work with Ulfred and the extra practices are finally beginning to show results.
I finally finished the handout for the knitting class on thursday. All that is left is the final editing which Elfreda is doing not me (One day I will figure out the linking thing). Somehow my enthusiasm or too much time overcame me and we went from 14 to 36 pages today. Now I just need to finish the paper on knitting during the SCA time period and life would be even better. Since I am in the mood for it, I will probably work a bit on it tonight.
I need to work on my projects as well. I am trying to work out some kind of schedule that I can get some of the stuff finished. And work on new garb. The Flemish worked well this weekend, but I do not think I want to wear it all the time.
I have been planning a proper Byzantine outift for some time. Even the fabrics have been purchased. All that needs to happen is going from thinking about it to doing something about it.
