Happy birthday, cheeky!!!Wish you all the best--lots of Ben goodness, angsty fics, smutty fics, and hopefully, an end to all these visits to the hospital

Wish Seth had been so empathetic on the show! You've kept him 'real' here, with his barging into Ryan's room at 5am, totally ignoring Ryan's pointed attempts to ignore him, and rambling in very convincing fashion.
But instead of typically self-absorbed Seth, here he's woken up to the fact that Ryan's hurting, and that the hurt needs more attention than a trip to the mall.
Thanks, chase... I know most of this is a slight rewriting of history, but I couldn't resist. What kind of guy drags his friend to the mall over a heartbreak anyway? :)
Glad you thought Seth was believable--he's such a difficult character to write...
Just yesterday I was wondering when you were going to give us the next nice thing Seth did. Wonderful as always. I know the rest of the episode is widely hated, but I seriously love the first scenes with Ryan and Seth in the pool house and the bus station. Any idea when we can look forward to the next chapter?
He talks a lot more in our fics than he does on the show, doesn't he? But it's Seth... and when Seth offers to liste, better take him on his offer, right?
Heee, up until now, my favourite line of the show was TDB's "All year, I've tried to be someone I'm not. I can't do that anymore", but it has been pushed to the second place by this "just talk about himself" thing. :) So true...

I like these scenes as well--and I like the ending too, with Ryan saying "Whoever you want me to be" to Marissa again.
Next chapter should be up next week, same time. :)

Instead of "just talks about himself," and Ryan "has to solve his own problems by himself."

Thanks :)
