This has been such a good day for OC stories...two fantastic updates and two wonderful new stories. I'm literally in heaven. I'm so glad you "found" your Seth. You didn't need to worry, this was wonderful. I loved every line of this story and it read perfectly. I can't tell you how excited I was when I re-read this and realized this was only part one. I realize the summary should have given that away, but I'm still a bit spacey from my cold.
(was he apologizing? He apologized all the time) I can not tell you why or how much I adore that one simple line. Please give us the next cool Seth thing very soon.
Unfortunately coughing is all I've been doing lately. This cold/flu/sinus infection completely and totally kicked my rear end for over a week. I couldn't stay awake past 9:00. Which means I got absolutely no writing done. However, I did finally manage to go to the doctor and got some drugs. So now I do have the next chapter completely written and typed. I just need to spend a couple of hours going over it for obvious mistakes and then it will be off to the beta. So with a little luck it should be up sometime this week. *crossing fingers*
You made me remember early Season 1, where I still liked him, because he was caring and attentive and a good friend. Somewhere during the first season I liked him less and less and now I don't really care about him anymore. So thanks a bunch for reminding me that he actually is a good guy.
Watching on as Ryan leaned into Seth's father for support, Seth thought that it might be a small thing, but it was at least a start. That Sandy/Ryan scene is just beautiful. And as much as I would love to find out what they were talking about, this outsiders view from the kitchen probably made it even more beautiful and touching.
Seth was never used to pay attention to other people's needs, so yes, he can be selfish and self-centered sometimes. Still, the way he instantly accepted Ryan was pretty neat. :)
(And I'm glad you liked the outsiders view, cause it's one of my favourite scenes). :)
(Me too--famous wrote a few fics where Seth was jealous of Ryan when he first came to live with the Cohens, and brandy also played with the idea a few times, and I like to think that this kind of things must have happened off screen).

Thanks, anne--I find Seth very difficult to write, so I'm glad you thought it worked...
Next part should be up by the end of the week.

So many missed opportunities - wasted on "Johnny" story lines and other useless OC crap.
