I'm going to miss this story - I always looked forward to the updates - but I have to admit, the ending was perfect

Was a lovely ending, Helen.
I like the line you trod very carefully. In so many ways, he did get himself back. Become/stayed who he was and came to know that. And you didn't go with a cataclysmic event and memory return.
Like so much that he let the Cohens in, told them about the phonecall.

Thanks fred. He did get himself back in more ways than one--which is why I didn't think getting his memory back would make a huge difference at this point.

Oh, and while you're here, may I remind you that poor Ryan has been stuck in a car with Caleb for a while, now...? :) Hope all is well on the RL front.

I'm so sad now. This story has been so good right down to it's sweet ending I really hate to see it end but all good things must. Thank you for this terrific fiction and the epilogue was just right. I'm so glad Ryan finally knows where he belongs.

I just re-read this entire fic yesterday. I'm going to echo fifimom-I'm sad too. Updates to this story have made my days and I'm sorry to see it end. The ending was perfect. No miraculous recovery just Ryan finding his place in the world. Thank you.

Dare we hope that you have another idea in your head?

Thanks for the nudge. It makes me feel wanted. First draft is completely typed. However, there are a couple of spots that are pretty rough that need some serious tweaking. Hopefully I'll have it up within the week.

This has been a great story. The ending even had me a little teary. I'm sad it's over, but you ended it really well. For some reason I kept thinking he was going to hook up with Julia. Anyway, great job!
