It's hot.
It's really, ridiculously fucking hot--and it's supposed to be even worse tomorrow.
I know, I know, it's the same thing everywhere from Canada to the States and to Europe, but seriously, this is just too much.
We live in the North of Europe, and we're used to winter--no matter how much we gripe about it when it's actually here. Cold and rain, we can deal with. This? Not so much.
For the last week, I've spent all my days trying not to fall asleep on my desk, and since my colleagues are in the same shape I am, they're no help (nor do I help them, I guess, by yawning every five minutes).
And the worst part of it is, we occupy a room in the basement of the building, and we don't get much sun except early morning, and it's pretty cool down there. I half-seriously wondered whether I'd be allowed to sleep there for the next two or three nights, just to enjoy the lower temperatures...
Sadly, I don't think it's going to be possible, though.
