I really enjoyed this, especially the Zak memories/hallucinations (I'm not sure which they were - exaggerated memories?), I enjoy stories about Lee and Zak's relationship and I love the way you portrayed it. I particularly liked the subtle way you wove Lee's problems with his parents into the memory parts. By the end you had really made me feel how close the brothers were and how much Lee misses Zak.
Look forward to more - sorry for the short comment, am pressed for time. (That's also why I didn't respond to your beta request on the Realm, normally I would have offered, but too busy with the baby at present.)
(I'm not sure which they were - exaggerated memories?) Well, in my mind, in "reality," Zak almost drowned but Lee reached him in time, Lee almost fell but Zak caught him, and Lee was sick when he was a kid and woke up with Zak at his side, but obviously, Zak was a kid as well. I left it open to interpretation, but yes, exaggerated memories works. :)
Heh, good point--but the past doesn't count, unfortunately (for Lee).
Next part is going to be about something different? Yup; according to mick1997, I up the angst with each part, so don't expect Lee to be in good shape any time soon.
