Well, a very nice and quite exciting day!

Speaking class was just a discussion of a film.

Then Montaigne tutorial was put off until tomorrow.

On Monday, we walked past this shop on Walton Street called James (yes, a shop with a person's name), and Catherine noticed four photographs of Morrissey in the window. They were excellent, but the shop was closed. Then today, on our way to the Phoenix (again), we tried again, and it was STILL closed. So I was just writing a note on a slip of paper to ask when on earth it was open, when I noticed a figure! It had big shaggy blonde hair and a sarong. So I was brave and knocked on the door. The figure opened the door and we shouted to eachother over excruciatingly loud Oasis. He invited us in. Turns out that he was asked to take a photo of Morrissey for his passport. He did, only he carried on snapping away until he had taken 110 pictures! And they are wonderful! He's just talking away, twiddling his hands, blinking, licking his lips etc. James, our newest friend, showed us the lot on his computer as a slideshow - it was like a Morrissey flip-book thing! He says he's not sure what he's going to do with them yet - maybe string them all up around the shop one day and let Morrissey songs blare all day long! He gave me his card and said to keep in touch so he can let me know when and what is happening, but he'll let me have/buy one!

Here's the best bit...

The only people to have ever seen them are Morrissey, me, James, Katryn, and Catherine.

My oh my!
