I've been kind of busy this past week or two, lots of playing with the band and a new girlfriend.

On Friday, I went to Keith's after school to help him dismantle his drumset so we could take it over to Old Town. Then I walked over to Clayton's to help pack up all the other equipment, which I had to do without Cameron because he came late and without Clayton because he had a soccer game. We then hurried over to Old Town, and set our equipment. We debuted a few songs, as we were curious of crowd reaction and we were trying to finalize our set list for Saturday. We played

Remember, June (Debut)
Matter of Fact
Fox Boy (Debut)
R.A.G.E
Strange Flower
Constellation 9 (Debut)

Everything went over pretty well. I slept over at Clayton's that night, and then we went to Congress. We had to get there at 9. Our set was at 4:30. We played

Remember, June
Matter of Fact
Strange Flower
Peace of Mind

We were trying for a well rounded ground of songs. Remember, June was our more artsy song, with almost tribal drumbeats and a solo that's just plain weird. Matter of Fact is based around the old Doo-Op format. Strange Flower is a cheesy, loose, garagerocky thing, and Peace of Mind is a more laid back, almost stoner blues.

After that, I went to the movies with some friends and saw Marie Antoinette (I know I can't spell). Not a bad movie, but somewhat pointless. All I learned was that French people did a lot of drugs and ate a lot of sweets.

Sunday I slept.
