I wasted my lunch hour waiting in line to renew my license plates...
...Only to be told at the counter that I can't renew it until I've done the Drive Clean emissions testing...
...I tell them I just bought my car last summer and the test was performed/passed with flying colours then...
...They said it doesn't matter if I did it Dec-31-2008, all 2004 year cars have to have the test done in 2009.......................................
WTF.
That is just really horrible timing.
Probably about the same shittiness as my getting my G license 1 month before my license expired. Woo double fees!
And it also just happens that my license will again need to be renewed just 1 month before my wedding. In which case, immediately after I need to apply for a new license anyway due to surname change. LOLS!
And let's not even get into the fact that my passport expired 3 months ago and I had to pay $90 to renew it--only to have to pay that AGAIN next fall with the name change.
