Say hi to the new puppy. she doesn't have a name yet. We decided to get her on Saturday, but she can't come home until Friday.
But we had some bad news yesterday about Lady, our 10 year old border collie mix. She has cancer in her leg, and she is too old to amputate, as she might not wake up from the knock out drug. And at her age going through chemo is more of a torture than help. We're just going to give her pain pills and spoil her for however long she lasts.
It sucks that when we decide to get a new dog and are all excited about it, we find out something like this.
