Serenity Now, Insanity Later
The last week has been absolutely INSANE for a number of reasons, some of which I won't get into mainly because everybody who's reading this already knows what I'm talking about. Needless to say, this week has been weird, wild stuff.
Not to mention my parents are in Cuba so my grandmother (yes, the one that ate the cat food) is staying with us which is different, but fun. Like tonight we watched Jeopardy and had a competition to see who could get the most answers. I won, mainly thanks to knowing all the answers in the category "Ashton Kutcher." Admitting I know that much about him is more of a loss than any amount of putting a pounding on my grandmother is worth. And since when does Jeopardy have categories like Ashton Kutcher? I hope to God it's just because it's the Teen Tournament. But at least it will be good practice for Reach tomorrow. Even though I'm going to miss the after school practice / pizza because I have an impromptu hockey practice at 5. I wish I could miss it but we haven't practiced for a month which is well beyond ridiculous. So I'll have to rush home from school, pack my gear, find a ride to the rink, practice, get a ride home, unpack my gear and then walk back to school for Reach. Hopefully I'll get there by 7 but in any event this is nothing short of the week from HELL and I will be very glad when Friday comes around and I have no more rides to arrange, hockey, Reach or any other activity to go to and I can sit down and actually spend part of a day with my grandmother because even though she's staying here for a week I don't have much time to spend with her and I feel bad about that. Oh well I'm sure it will all work out, things have a way of evening out, at least that's what I have to believe to get me through the day.
