I do love me some headcanon.
Some of this is canon facts extrapolated, some of this is just me.
- Kuchiha, as much as she might secretly want a husband and a family, isn't having kids. The line will die with her, or else.
- Given canon's hand waving and the way other gods inside of people work, she's worried about how she'll die, exactly. She's worried that what happened at the temple will happen again.
- She expects to go down fighting in the next ten years, though, because she's not going to stop fighting until she has no reason to fight, and as long as she's alive, she has a reason to fight.
- Shinro taught her meditation, and also was her first teacher of the sword. He was proud of how fast she learned, and a little scared.
- Kuchiha knows how to read and write because Shamon used to bribe her with more swords lessons if she'd learn five new characters a day.
- Kuchiha doesn't have an automatic translator for everything written in camp, but largely because she's happier that way. She doesn't mind just sticking to her computer and the Japanese section of the library, because it's not like she's much of a reader anyway.
- Kuchiha got spoiled by a legion of onsen, teahouse and other attendants when Shamon took her places as a child. He mostly turned the privilege into free drinks. This meant that Kuchiha got some female attention when she was little, and also learned how to swim by falling into pools.
- She knows some bits and pieces about the real world from Kon, mostly. This means she takes it all with a grain of salt and adds it to the Japanese Buddhist philosophy on Nirvana. Her perception of modern Tokyo, is accordingly very special.
