Personality; Though not much has been shown of Jane yet, what can be derived from her brief appearance is that she is a young lady who believes in her friends while being someone highly given to skepticism. She has herself remarked that there is a big difference between believing in someone and believing them; she leans toward the former, being big-hearted enough to believe in her friends and their good intentions toward her, while often not quite being able to believe the fantastical things they tell her. Her friends have remarked on this quality of hers, D. Strider having told her in the past to "be more like Jake" (who seems much more willing to believe everything he's told); another calls her a "chump" for refusing to heed her warnings about the upcoming game Jane is so excited to play. While Jane understands her friends warnings and advice come from a good place, and she believes in them and their care for her, she is much too practical-minded to heed them. Even when her dad grounds her for her own protection, in reaction to past assassination attempts on her life, Jane brushes the threat aside, instead working her way around her dad's various obstacles put in place to keep her safe. As far as can be seen from the latest update, this decision may have proven deadly, and so her skepticism could prove to be one of her greatest flaws, preventing her from believing in some of the crazier things she may be told until it's too late, and that believing in her friends may not be enough at times.

From her introduction page, it's clear that Jane has quite a passion for baking, being that she is the heiress to the Betty Crocker corporation. Not only is she to inherit the company someday, she's also their biggest fan, filling her room with various paraphernalia with the company logo. She also has an interest in detective stories and pranksters, though that in part due to her family legacy and not something in which she feels as competent in as compared to her poppop, perhaps.

Jane's typing style is relatively ordinary, though she has displayed an affinity toward the proper use of grammar, often correcting her friends when they chat. However, though grammar seems to be her "thing", she's not a stickler for it, sometimes making up words herself, and typing things like "dunno" instead of the proper "don't know". She does consider it her "turf", though, playfully chiding Strider when he teases her for saying "shalln't", saying that correcting her friends' language is what she does, hoo hoo. She also tends to use somewhat antiquated words and phrases in her vocabulary, such as "shucks buster" and the like.

Being that Jane is the heiress to the Betty Crocker company, she is often making mental notes about things she will do once she turns 18 and inherits it. Though she is their biggest fan, it does not mean there aren't things she would like to change about it even so (like changing the logo back to her beloved spoon, or sinking their gnarled claws into the postal service). Though she might not accept the title from her friends, Jane has spent most of her life knowing she will one day become a leader, and though she hasn't had much opportunity to demonstrate her ability yet, she has had the mindset of an eventual one, is able to look to the future, and has a big heart.
