Apollo still had one more person he needed to speak with. Out of everyone though, she seemed to be the most important one. This was the only person that Apollo would feel twists of slight anxiety for when needed to talk to them. Perhaps it was because Artemis was the closest one to him, that he felt in such a way.

When Artemis was unhappy, he wasn’t happy. When she wasn’t content with something, he wasn’t content with something. It was the bond of twins? No, it was their bond as people, and how her feelings widely affected how he felt. If she was discontent with something, Apollo made all the effort in the world to make her happy again.

So when she seemed to refuse even his own efforts to make her happy, (Taking her out, offering her a chance to be around others, asking her what was wrong) and refused to really tell him what was wrong, it made Apollo feel hurt. It made him annoyed.

He was really bothered about how she had been with the girls at Abussos. Such things made him feel uneasy. He wanted Artemis to tell him all her feelings, and share everything like they had as children.

Apollo opened the door to her home on whim, like he was as welcome there as one of her pups. “Artemis?” He called.

artemis, apollo
