Back from GenCon
It was very hot in Indy this year; hottest it has ever been since it's been in Indy. Arriving to 93F weather with a heat index of 112F, and this being the year that you decide to try a hotel a wee bit cheaper, but not directly connected to the convention center (a block up and a block across away) did not make for a happy Jules.
But it did get a bit cooler, only a bit, but that helped. It was starting to get hot again as we left, but we were on our way out! Who cares then?

Anyway, we had crap hotel internet there. It was free, but the "good" internet was $5/day and we decided not to pay for it. So I haven't really read LJ in about 2 weeks. If I need to see something, point me to it.
