I have my last day at work today. Maybe I should be feeling a bit sad, or at least thoughtful, to this fact, but I do not.
I am moving from a very secure public company to a young private company.
I am getting one week less yearly vacation, half an hour longer
working hours (a full hour during the summer), significantly worse retirement and insurance
benefits, and taking a pay cut on top of that.
Hopefully, I will get a more enjoyable day-to-day life in return.
I am SO looking forward to move on.
