no no no. my internet has been down for over a week. I just now got back on with my stepdad's laptop. Unfortunately, I don't get e-mail (well, I can't find out how anyway). Honestly, as if I'd not feel like responding to you. Don't be silly. I'll definitely try to get some sort of e-mail working so I can respond. I'm sorry I worried you.

Yeah, its been hard without my own computer and internet. I am not liking this wireless crap. Oh well, I have someone comin in tomorrow, so hopefully he'll be able to fix it. Oh man, he weather is awesome here. I am reluctant to enjoy it however. I don't really want to put away my jacket. Oh well, if it has to be it has to be. How'd you like that story i sent you?

I liked it!! It was really well written...and if you get my e-mail, I really go into depth about the parts that I liked, lol. But, ok so I am pretty sure that I can prly relate a little bit to your story....the old man is ur dad right? haha, if i am wrong i am going to feel really dumb, but from what i read it sounded like that. And, yeah so obviously you don't have a good relationship with ur dad and I definitely have an almost nonexistent one with mine too. So, yeah. But your ideas were really good and so true. I was very impressed. haha i think it is really funny that we are communicating via livejournal. lol

hahaha. Well, you're right, the Old Man was originally based on my father. However, he later becomes synonymous with God, and the other characters adopt similar manifestos. The name "Old Man" ended up working well. It means both "father" and could be interpreted as God, who is old. So it just worked out better than expected. I actually did finish that. It's about 20 pages long, 1.5 spaced. I hopefully (knock on wood) will have me e-mail back tomorrow or tonight, so we can stop communicating through livejournal. Hahaha. Well, take care of yourself, and I'll talk to you later.
