I can drink most teas just fine without sugar. I love tea. I probably drink 2-3 cups daily. White tea has barely any caffeine in it most of the time, the most delicious white tea I've ever had was strawberry misaki from Teavana and it was VERY expensive. It was one of those blooming teas where the flower blooms in your cup.

yeah strawberry shortcake glass lol. I also have the smurfs...

Which is probably why they do nothing for me caffeine wise! I really drag myself in the morning, so coffee has helped me there. I used to do a workout and be so tired I'd go back to sleep like a bum. I usually only drink a few oz, so its probably not doing very much for me/to me. But I'm more worried about the other habits I'm trying to form 8 hours of sleep/yoga daily/80 millions cups of water, etc etc.

Its so much easier for me to break a habit, like when I was working at a bakery and was drinking energy drinks everyday.. just stopped buying them and that was it. Same with fizzy drinks. If coffee were to give me irritation I'd stop drinking it, but I felt like one ingredient is better than 5-6 I can't pronounce.

I'm about to call tech shop in a second to reserve a slot. Just a bit more tinkering for what I'm shipping off to you :D

No judgment, I have sooo many Hello Kitty glasses. XD

I was addicted so badly to caffeine, it sucked, and I frittered a lot of money away on pop. Now I just drink naturally flavoured seltzer which has no sugar in it and gives me fizzy goodness, lol.

Try lemon water! Just lemon juice in your water. I do it and it helps with the getting your daily intake in...I hate the taste of plain water, and lemon is a neutral additive, hehe.

Ohhhhh I can't wait to see XD XD XD

I can deal with plain water, its just.. after a week or more of drinking how much I'm supposed to drink, it'll be 11pm and I'll feel dehydrated... its like HOW!!?? and WHY!!??

Lemon will just make me want lemonade, the really radioactive kind with like a whole stick of sugar cane just sitting in it.. lol

Oh I know, right? Since I switched to seltzer and lemon water, I'm ALWAYS drinking. Coooonstantly. I go through at least one bottle of water per work shift (we keep a big pack in the gas box) too! I always have a water bottle by my bed, heh.

But then I think were I to be hospitalized, they would not need to give me fluids. When I was addicted to caffeine, any time I would have anything medical that required me to be on fluids, my body would immediately nom up at least one bag, usually two. I can't imagine I'm a special case, either...a lot of us are just dehydrated as normal status...

I'm pretty much always dehydrated -- my poor defective stomach can't hold a lot of liquid at once (because of the EDS, the muscle at the top is weak -- so I get reflux if I get too full of food or drinks), which means it's almost impossible for me to get enough water unless I'm constantly sipping away . . . and then I'm constantly needing to run to the bathroom. *sigh*

On the plus side, IV fluids always have a really positive effect on me, so if I'm in the ER for something else, I'm always so happy to know that I'm going to be feeling better after a little while, no matter what I'm in there for! :)

(That white tea is gorgeous, btw!!!)

I was reminded of your post by this photo of something very nifty made with a laser-cutter -- I would love to see you do something like a lace crown or necklace, because my dolls can never have enough jewelry! ^___^

ooooh!

if you give me the circumference of the doll head you'd want this for I can do that!

I'm making a paper flower wreath today and cutting out all the parts in the laser. I love finding more things I can do with it!

I can probably make this in cardstock, I'd probably have to double up and glue 2 sheets together to make it more durable. I'd have to research what else I could use, but as long as you are careful it should be fine....

I think that one is some kind of plastic film -- like transparency slides, if you remember those?

Cardstock would work well, too -- and I'm pretty good at being careful with delicate things, blessedly :)

Thank you again! <3

well I have to find somewhere to buy them from that has a material safety data sheet (MSDS), cause I have to be careful that it does not emit gases or anything of the sort when burned.

they have a VERY generic yes and no list, surprisingly you can engrave chocolate and cheese but you can't cut them. it also says fabric engraves and cuts but not all fabrics are optimal, and even if it works, gotta test settings every time. Might work perfectly on one type of silk, and the next silk you use might have completely scorched edges. Also sometimes the smell of the fabric mimics charcoal briskets for a few hours :')

I'll be going in a few hours. I have two crowns to test out, one has peaks of coral reefs and the other has peaks amongst roses. Can't ever just do something regular x_x; almost to a fault.

Also have Unoa 1.5 sized clothes that will be coming out soon, since I used to cater to them more back in the days and it seems I had a better niche with smaller dolls, lol. I'll send you pictures of the composites tonight. Depending on how flimsy I find them, I might end up doubling up on the layers just in case. I would like it to arrive in one piece!

Oh, yes, you should definitely check the MSDS of anything you're using a laser on -- I'm sorry, I didn't think to mention that! o_O

I can't wait to see the results!!

*squee!* :D

A paper flower wreath sounds gorgeous!!

I'd love to see a Unoa-size crown with tall points -- that could be a fitting one for 6" heads, or a mini-crown (as long as the ribbon attachments were long enough) for 9-10" heads. I have always admired the gorgeous crowns I see in the collections and Dolpa/doll-show pictures of some collectors in Asia, but I've never seen anyone in the English-speaking dolly world make them.

I'd be delighted to be your guinea pig for this -- please let me know if there is a materials/etc. cost, because I would LOVE to own one of these made by you!

*hugs*
