Due to the persistance of a few flickr contacts here is a thief shirt in Blythe size! Rien has been in the shadows of the resin kids for quite some time. Besides having to gather the courage to pop her head open and matte her face I really haven't had the time to do the customizing I've wanted to do to her or fixer-upper-lass. At least she gets some new clothes and a snap shot!
Another doll knocked off my wishlist! I finally have a tan Narae~! Still working on her "look" though. She's going to be sent off for a faceup in the next month or so. But for now welcome HyuNae or Honey-chan. :3
Blythe clothes are easier and harder to make than I thought. Unfortunately everyone just loves the gunmetal ink, well I love it too, color wise. But everytime I use it, I have to screen print one piece of fabric at a time and then the little glitters clog up the screen. So I have to wash the ink out after every piece, then dry the screen before the next piece. Last night i did 2 shirts, 6 pieces in all since only the blythe size has the pattern on front and back. If it wasn't for the blow dryer I'd still be printing now ;A; I'm going to experiment with other brands of ink! There has got to be a better way!
Also the picture of Rue in a gauze shirt on flickr now has more views/comments/favorites than any other picture. Even more than the picture of a Lusis I sold a while ago! People always love the hardest thing to work with lol.
Well now back to cutting/screen printing fabric!
