"Spa"-trip
..turned out not to contain spa at all! \o/ The spa-part of the hotel wasn't finished yet, and won't be till this winter or something. But even without the spa I'm pretty sure it's the nicest hotel I've ever been to. Great rooms, though I didn't get to spend much time in there. It turned out to be a pretty big family gathering, and I have to have met most of Thomas' nearest family by now. xD;; They were all nice people, and I think I did ok considering my poor social skills. I'm going to meet most of them again already next weekend, as there's going to be a birthday party for one of his uncles.
A lot of time was spent travelling this weekend. We left Elverum about one on Friday and were at the hotel about nine. But then we stopped to eat and such a couple of times. I got to see alot of nature from the car. Beautiful forests, mountains, fjords and whatnot. It made me want to take a walk out there. Bring some cocoa, a packed lunch and just walk around for a while and then take a break to eat and just admire the nature. I especially felt like it when we were in the mountain area. It reminded me of the time I travelled Rallervegen by bicycle, though it wasn't excactly that kind of trip I wanted to take. I didn't want a trip with a destination, just to walk around as we'd feel like and head back to wherever we came from when we'd feel like it.
The trip back was a bit shorter, as we left at about ten-eleven and were in Elverum about five. So I got a little time to unwind before taking the two hour bus trip back to Oslo. The car trip to Elverum, however, got me in summer-mood. Just sitting in the sun reading a book or something. Not long to go now. Five days of work, and then it's summer vacation! \o/ Still looking forward to it, but I've now started to feel a bit nervous for all the changes coming in the fall. It's exciting, but also a bit scary not knowing how things'll end up.
The weekend wa fun, but a bit tiresome. It's nice to be back home, sitting here with my laptop, drinking a can of green tea. n_n Goin to watch the newest episodes of Code Geass and Chi. I managed to catch up with Geass on the bus to and fro Elverum, and I've come to think Rolo's kind of cute. xD;;
