A tingly sensation on my upper lip woke me up this morning. I brushed it with my fingers and was annoyed that it did not fade. I opened my eyes and saw a little fruit fly walking on my pillow. It was a clever fruit fly. You see, it flew away before my brain registered what my eyes were seeing. Otherwise, I would've spazzed out. Then I would've called the cat to come and eat it.
My first day of school went exactly as expected: uneventful. I did learn, however, that I am taking a class that I do not need to take - astronomy (natural science). When the professor did the "introduce yourself to your neighbours," I learned that the guy sitting next to me thought that it was a bird course. I was surprised and asked him if he was sure (as a third year, he may have some inside info that I'm not yet privvy to ^_-) since I need to boost my GPA. He replied with, "It's astronomy, how hard could it be?" which wasn't terribly reassuring.
Also, my math teacher is incredibly hard to understand. He has a rather heavy accent and doesn't use the microphone.
