Who is the one person you'd really like to know what they are thinking . . .

The Talk Show Host smiled at the camera with more teeth than Crazy Harry, "And weeeeee're BACK!" he told his invisible audience in TV Land. "If you're just joining us -- and why weren't you here earlier? -- we're talking with Kermit the Frog, star of movies and television." The small studio audience clapped politely. "So, Kermit . . ." continued the Host, turning to his Guest, "You've just spent an exciting year traveling the world to celebrate the big Five-Oh. You starred in several new projects and just sealed a deal with the Mouse. All very exciting stuff. But my audience wants to know more about you. They want to hear about the Frog Within."

"Uh, well, I've never had a frog within," replied Kermit candidly. "I'd really rather have pizza or ice cream within. Now, Sweetums once had two dozen fr---"

"No, no!" The Host looked at his Guest with a pitying expression. "What I mean is, the Viewers want to know what makes you tick." And before that metaphore could be taken literally, he rushed on, "The real you. Not the public celebrity but the private frog!"

"I really am sort of private," he admitted. "Especially since I don't really get much time to myself."

"What about your friends and family?" pressed the Host. He quickly glanced at the small pile of question-prompt cards in his hand then contined (as if he'd just thought of it), "Who is the one person you'd really like to know what they're thinking about you. How they feel about you personally?"

Kermit looked thoughtful for a moment. "Gee, I can't say that I've really ever wondered what anyone was thinking about me. Except maybe Piggy."

The Host brightened considerably, anticipating some juicy gossip to boost the ratings. "Because of your passionate, undying love for her?"

"Well, uh, no. More from self preservation. If I knew what Piggy was thinking about me, I'd have a better chance to hop out of the way when she's in one of her moods," he said candidly. "She's got a pretty mean right hook."
