I settled on some definite plans, for once!
#1:
Bi/Tri/Quadri/Quin/Sex/Septi/Octo/Nona/Centennial - due 14 Jan. 1810s Bonnet, royal blue/white shot taffeta, Kanniks Korner. More on this later.
#2: UFO - due Jan 28. I have about a million. 1776 Diderot Stays I started in 2009. Since I had been thinner then when I started them, they might fit.
#3: Under it all - due Feb 11. 1810s stays. Probably the cupped, short, kind.
#4: Embellish - due Feb 25. I still don't know. I might take this time to take a break, or work on something else
#5: Peasants & Pioneers - due March 11. AND #6: Stripes - due March 25. These two I'm combining for 1810s. I have two lengths of striped wool, one white with gray (4 1/3 yards) for a gown, and one dark blue with white/gray pins (2 1/2) for a half-robe.
#7: Accessorize - due April 9. Knitted mitts.
For this most recent, the bonnet, I've settled on trimming it with 2" silk ribbon, but have not chosen a color. The pattern is cut out, but the bonnet brim needs to be transferred.
I need to find some "chipboard;" last time I went hunting, no one knew what I was talking about, but I'm finding it on store websites. I don't think we have any more shellac or denatured alcohol, so I'm going to have to hit up the hardware store later. Since the chipboard needs two coats of shellac, with one day of drying time between, I'll use the dry time to cut out and sew. If I play my cards right and work on this, I could have a bonnet by next Wednesday!
I had other things I wanted to talk about, costuming-wise, but I'm not feeling very well and LJ is being weird.
