My highly awesome inlaws: Wendy and Andrew Got Married
Two posts in a row, I know. But do yourself a favor and watch this. This is the video that played at the beginning of my sister-in-law's wedding to my new brother-in-law, an event which took place in Iowa City at the Englert Theater on New Year's Eve. They got married on stage, had the reception in a receiving room, on the stage, and all over the auditorium, and closed the thing down with a balloon drop of 1000 balloons (which I helped inflate and tie) at midnight. It was an absolutely amazing wedding and one of the best times I've ever had.
Andrew is a film editor by trade, which you can tell immediately by watching this video. It showed on the screen (after a preview countdown with teasers from their trip to South America a few years ago) and was followed by a story of how they met. But here is the first part.
They handed out popcorn and movie candy and let everyone get their picture taken on the red carpet as they came in.
