So... incase you were wondering. Lake Michigan=SHOCKINGLY REFRESHING!! OMG it was amazing. it's such a rush swimming in that lake at like 2:30AM. it's shit like that that i LIVE for!! i reccomend it to anyone- especially those people who were there with me but too scared to actually get in (AHEM KATE)... so yeah hanging out at the cottage was purty fun. just hung out on the beach all day, drove into pentwater for a little while, had SHISHKABOBS for dinner. (yay!) so last night a bunch of us got in this lil tent on the beach & played 7-11... well, i'm pretty sure that was the name of the game. either way it was a lot of fun & i was actually sort of good at it. and then...... oooh i played volleyball with a couple of the boys. i know what you're thinking- "heidi, but it was nighttime! how could you possibly play volleyball in the dark???" well slow down there killer! because the volleyball we had GLOWS IN THE DARK!!!! ooh it was sweet. we had also played an actual game earlier that day. i owned that shit. hahahaha. (sometimes i think that i should've kept playing v-ball because i like it a lot.) but WOW! the sky is soooo beautiful there. it's awesome to actually be able to see that many stars. a few of us decided to sleep on the beach in sleeping bags... (the tent had mysteriously collapsed & we didn't want to even bother trying to fix it) but yeah, it was pretty sweet looking up at the stars. & it was going well until we were all awoken by rain droplets on our face & thunder & lightning. we ran back up to the cottage & made it inside just before it began to pour... and THEN... it didn't stop pouring. so today we just sort of chilled. kate, andrew & i went and saw "the perfect man." hell yes i went to see the new hilary duff movie!! and you know what? the ticket was only 5 dollars so i really don't care. after that we drove back to my cousins house in G-RAPIDS..... and HERE I AM!!
I hope you all had an AWESOME 4th of july!! and BTW, i'm sorry i left hudson mills so early on saturday. i was really tired that night & i really didn't feel like dealing w/ all the traffic afterwards... for some reason i thought going to dan's sounded more appealing. yup i was still really tired while i was there too. that didn't change. yeah i was being pretty lame that night... i apologize. i should have stayed & watched the fireworks... & pushed jeremy around in his wheelchair! awww poor guy!! :(
well, now i'm thinking that i'm still pretty much covered in sand. they don't just call it the "land o' sand" for no reason! so um, i'm gonna go take a shower...... peath out
