Sunday! Happy Father's day DAD! <3
took a walking tour of braunschweig...
drove 1hr away to the Herz (closest mountain range)
had a picnic at the base of the mountains. i got sunburned.
went into the near-by town, Wernigerode. Very touristy because of the Herz... also fuuuuuuuuull of half-timbered old old old houses and buildings.
Took a Bimmelbahn (haha...we called it that as a joke i duno..) a train up the mountain to the Wernigerode Schloss. This one actually DID look like a castle! It was beautiful. It made me think about harry potter...and that one movie, the worst witch. We got to go look around inside too, but couldn't take any pictures inside.
drove to Wolter's 20th annual Hoffest.
