what a day
Wow what a day today. I was off from work, but not at home. As most people know a mother never has a day off. I had to clean my house, which my darling family helped me with. Then I had to go get my check today, they let us have them a day early as tomorrwo by the time we all get off work, there may not be a place to cash them. But my hubby has planned a new years eve party. So we had to get things for that. Oh boy what fun this is going to be. Actually it should be fun. It will be the first new years that I can actually drink a little and not have to worry about being the designated driver. I will already be home. Of course I probably won't drink that much anyway. I never do, not much of a drinker.
Anyway, we went and got all the stuff we needed for the pary. We also went to Wal-Mart and I thought they wouldn't have what I was looking for anymore. But they did. All I asked for Christmas was a STAR WARS trilogy set. I so wanted that so bad. Especially when I saw them at Wal-Mart. Well when I didn't get one for Chistmas I figured I would buy it for myself. So we went there, had to go to Wal-Mart anyway. Well I didn't see them up front where they usually were and my heart sank. So we went to the place where they keep the DVDs and such, and they still had them, I think there was 2 left. So my hubby bought it for me!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy!!!!!! Of course when we got home and put all the stuff away and such, my son wanted to watch it. He had never seen Star wars before. It was cute watching him watch it. He enjoyed it. Of course kept asking me questions, I think his favorite people were C3PO and R2D2. But I was so happy to have it, now I know what I will be watching when the kids finally go back to school on Monday.
Well got to finish up laundry and get ready for work in the morning. I work 9-5 tomorrow.
