Update on good things...
This week I have some really fun/important things happening. I get to see some of my most favorite people. I have one more work day and then about a week off. Yes!
On Tuesday I get to see Ace and Jenn. I have heard nothing but good things about this show. Ace is playing an acoustic set. I love acoustic music...and acoustic Ace is the tops. Though I was completely bummed not to see the full band. With the new cd out, it would have been good seeing the whole band. But I could not be more excited to see Ace again. His shows are my happy place. I hope they like my "little" treat I got them.
On Wednesday I fly out to NJ. I get to see Lauren, go to WAWA and see my YSU boys (Jeff included) all in that order. I am excited to be doing some site seeing too. The only bummer part is Lauren has to work some of the time. That is going to suck sitting around. And right now, she has to work Friday night. And that is during the show. I don't want to go without her, but I am not going to miss this show and seeing my boys. I have to be there...so I may be taking a train down alone. I think it still might work out, hopefully with her with me. I am excited.
Now, the most exciting news...
I GET TO SEE I CAN MAKE A MESS!!!! Last Thursday I saw online that ICMAM will be opening for a headling show in NJ. But the only problem is, it is about two weeks after I leave. I was pissed, to say the least. I hated knowing that I yet again was going to miss something so important. Jeff and Bill will be playing. And Serg and Joe will be there. All the TEN guys would be there. I sent Jeff a text saying "can you explain something to me. Why the crap is icmam playing two weeks after I go there. And ace being on tour is not a good enough excuse." He responded back that he just found out and was sorry. I told him that I was thinking about coming. He told me not to go into debt over it. I said that I had a job. :) And to make a long story short...and 300$ later... I will be there! I leave April 23rd and go directly to the show. I needed to go. And the feeling that I have confirms that I made the right choice. It is so important to me. And I need to be there. Rating it on a scale 1 being lowest in importance and 10 being highest...it is a 9. 10 being if TEN was actually playing. It is up next to TEN! This day will be perfect!
