Getting hitched

Stig asked me today if I wanted to marry him. I said yes, of course, and it truly feels like the right thing to do.
It's a thought that has been developing for quite a while with both of us, so after living together for 6 years, I guess it's about time.
No details decided, except that we want to do it this year, and preferably early fall. Yay :)

OMG! congradulations!!!! Am so happy for you! My husband and I were together for 5 years before he proposed and were affianced for a year before the wedding. Another thing we have in common :).

It was a medium size wedding; kind of traditional, except we had a female officiant and a family ceremony where we pledged our love to the kids. I have most of the details from planning to the actual ceremony under my Wedding" tag, if you ever have the time or the inclination to read it. Looking forward to reading about your wedding adventure.
