Summer is coming to an end...
Summer has once again blown by. It has been alot of fun...Cedar Point was great, bowled almost everyday, basketball games on Sunday were fun. This summer wasn't the same as usual. In the back of my mind i counted the days until I leave for college. Each day that went by I got more and more excited to go. Now that i'm 9 days away from leaving, I really have mixed emotions. The guys threw a going away party for me at UIC. They made me sit there in front of them and made me listen to their goodbyes and final speeches. That's when i realized what I'm really leaving behind. As nate says..."You gotta do what you gotta do." I still feel like I have unfinished business here to take care of, and i only have a few days to do that. Iowa is gonna be different...but it's something, that in the long run, will be good for me.
As for basketball, it's once again intercity time. Montreal is gonna be fun, and people are doubting us, but this team got somethin special. I'm gonna be gone for two weeks so you guys take care of business at practices. I'm gonna fly up to Montreal...haha no 22 hour bus ride for me...so I'll meet you all up there. But I'm gonna join the fun on the way back on the bus...can't wait for that.
