(no subject)
As I said in my last entry I was due to have an apprasial at work it took them a while to get round to it as its been mental as usual but it went ok, which was good I always find it usefull to get feed back and they are going to start giving me aims which I feel will get me more involved even though im doing an awfull lot at the moment. We've not really had any interesting cases or ops in lately everything has been pretty routine.
An update on my car it now has a shiny new uncracked windscreen woo hoo!!! its had a crack in for ages but only just got round to get it fixed. Thought i'd better as im travelling up to wales at the begining of nxt month. As im only third party insured it wasn't covered but they sugessted I get in touch with autoglass as they would give me 20% discount, got a quote from them and it was £238 !!! (thats with the discount!!!!) so I thought, I wonder wether the garage I normally use did it so I rang and got a quote from them and it was £123!!!! (guess who did it!!!!) I just don't get how two prices on the same work could be so different. The bad news is that although the windscreen is shiny it has a big scratch down the side I mis judged the angle when trying to put it in the garage. I was sooooo pissed off with myself but I was really tired and it was dark but even so it just annoying why me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
