Updates
-- I took my dog, Bignose,(ha yes) w/ me to work yesterday so Dr.C could look at him when she had time open, we drew blood for a geriatric panel to make sure everything was in tip top shape, checked his teeth to see if he needed antibiotics before his dental on Thursday and to do an ear cytology...He has lots of yeast and bacteria in his ears so she gave me 2 kinds of meds for that. While he's getting his dental, they're going to neuter him while they're at it and check his prostate. I asked "So, will neutering him really help if his prostate is already enlarged?" and Dr.C said "Yes, it will keep it from getting any bigger because I bet you it's already enlarged." So, I trust her and I told mom and she said to go ahead and do it...I'll probably get discounts on this stuff as well...I know neuters are like $50 something dollars, dentals for his weight is $75, the bloodwork is $77, and I'm not sure about the meds for his ears, I'll find out today....All of this is worth it since he's old and I want to make sure he is 100% before he goes under. I'll take him w/ me on Thursday to work at 9am, and I'll stay all day instead of coming in at 12:30, my normal time. I don't want him to be alone and I want to observe his dental and neuter...It will take all of like 20 minutes. I don't feel bad taking his nuts, he's not using them, I'm just worrying since he's old and has to be put under anesthesia....but the kind they're using is much easier on older dogs and he won't have to have a breathing tube. Wow, that was a long update. ha
-- Sarah's getting bratty. She cries when you leave the room, and I just went to wash my face and she went off so I kept yelling and telling her to hush it...She was tired so I just let her cry til she finally laid down. I won't be having that mess....=)
-- Matt and Derrick (Sarah's dad) went to talk to two of the band members about their drummer, Brandon and said they wanted to kick him out because he sucks terribly....He'll be mad cause he just spent like, 2,000 on new drums but he needs to not suck so bad and maybe he could have stayed. So, of Matt;s apartment or car is broken into, we'll know who did it. Matt's planning on moving soon and not telling Brandon where he goes. haha
-- We have an office meeting today at noon, and Christy told me to think about any complaints or suggestions I may have and she said Dr.Walls goes around and points you out but she said not to single anyone out, and I said "Well, I have one complaint, someone keeps putting trachial tubes, instruments and syringes in the fecal sink" and Christy said "That's Dr.Walls, he's doing it" So she said to say tomorrow "Someone keeps putting stuff in the fecal sink that doesn't belong, it just magically appears almost everyday" ha! So, Dr.Walls will look guilty and hide under the table...lmao.
-- Sophie goes to the vet tomorrow morning for one of her shots, the get a complete physical exam, a fecal exam and all that good stuff. So, maybe dad will go with us and get to see where I work. =)
