So I did it!
300 people=a sold out luncheon.
Tomorrow is the 32nd anniversary of Roe v Wade. The court case that made abortions safe and legal. I have been organizing today's luncheon that was in honor of Roe, for 300 people for the last two months. The last two weeks have been really stressful, but it is all over now! It was sold out and everything went really really well. There was a little bit of a seating mix up, but registration went well and so did everything else! The governor was there and she was awesome like usual! I'm really proud of myself but happy that I can move on to my normal work stuff.
I left work early today, I don't go in on Monday and I get to go in late on Tuesday. I have the best job and boss ever!
I will be in Denver in about 12 hours. I have not packed yet, but that will be fast. A short trip again. Unfortuantly. I have to wake up at 4 am to get to the airport, park my car in the long term parking, take the shuttle to the terminal and check in by 5 am! Flight leaves at 6 get into Denver by 8 and be holding my boyfriend's hand by 9. Life is swell.
A trip to Disneyland and California is in order sometime soon. I wish Germany was still on the radar for summer, I just don't see that happening.
The OC is the best show on earth. Just so ya'll know.
