THIRD DAY

- GENG’S POV -

The bell rang - means classes dismiss. I sighed. I just wasted another day, I didn’t had a courage to talked to her. She’s fixing her things and went out to go home, may be. Rain started when she went out, I sighed again. Hoping she has her umbrella with her.

When I reached the school door, I saw her there standing and looking at the dark sky. She’s holding her shoulder back with her hands. ‘why is she still here?’ I asked myself. I walked towards her side and stopped there. I talked to her for the first time, “uhh.. hi..” I greeted her. She smiled at me, then looked away. She was looking at the sky again, pouting.

I asked her if why is she still here, she looked at me and answered, “I’m waiting for the rain to stop..” she made a long face. I told her I can share mine unconsciously while I opened my umbrella. I saw her eyes widened. I quickly said if its okay with you. But she said, “no, thanks. I don’t want to be burden and I think we’re in the different direction.. so, thanks anyway..” but I didn’t let her go just like that.

I pulled her at my side, under my umbrella. She looked at me, shocked. This is the first time our eyes met, the first time that we he had physical contact. ‘ugh. What am I thinking?’ but I didn’t let her go.

I put my arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to me, so she won’t get wet. I saw her tensed, but she didn’t complain.

We walked and walked, and then I asked her if this is her way home, she nodded. So I was like jumped in front for her. We have the same route, we walked again. She stopped and said, “this is my house..” she pointed the big white house. It was really big and you can tell that they are really rich, even her features say it.

“thank you.. see you tomorrow, take care..” she said and went inside their house.

When I reached my house, no one is there yet. I jumped crazily because of happiness. And hoping everyday will rain. ‘stupid..’ I said to myself.

-          HEECHUL’S POV -

I saw the sky was dark, it will rain soon. So when the bell rang I quickly fixed my things and ran. Unfortunately, when I reached the door the rain already dropped. ‘I’m official stranded.’ I told myself. I was watching the rain while it pours. I wanted to run through the rain, but my mom would kill me if I did. So I waited it to stop.

As I watched the rain, I felt someone stood at my side. But I didn’t mind him. Until he spoke, “uhh.. hi..” he seems hesitating to talked to me, but I’m glad he did. I just smiled at Geng. “why are you still here?” he asked me, I looked at him and explained everything why I’m still here. I knew that time that my face shows that I really wanted to go home.

“I can share mine..” he said while he opened his umbrella. I was shocked. I didn’t expect that, especially from him. “if it’s okay with you..” he added. I wanted to say ‘yes’, but it will be embarrassing. So I answer him with no and that were not on the same route. I’m avoiding looking at him.

I was more shocked when he pulled me to his side- under his umbrella. I looked at him with wide eyes. this the first time that he talked and held me.

He put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to his side. I tensed, I knew he felt it.

After a while, he asked me “is this the way to your home?” I nodded. He was shocked and I was dumbfounded. I stopped when I reached my house and said, “this is my house..” he looked at my house with amazed in his eyes.

I thank him and said my goodbye. Then I entered my house and went directly to my room and jumped to my bed with joy.

‘that was sweet..’ I said to myself.

--- END OF POVs ---

When both of them arrived at their peaceful home. All they felt is happiness.

“he shared his umbrella with me and he put his arm around my shoulder.. sweet..” heechul said to herself.

“she said ‘take care’ to me and now I know where she lives.. good thing I shared my umbrella with her..” geng told to himself.
