saturday night was the most fun ive had with manuel in a very long time.
we sat talking on the top of that hill until we were too drunk to remember how to get down (for which we can thank danny)
it sounds silly but we DID finally figure out how to climb to the top of that bulldozer. we even fell asleep there

8 years old, sitting in my dads old audi somewhere downtown

at that time she was on heavy rotation in that little audi
i remember falling asleep to her voice all the time
"Good evening this is captain midnight speaking and I've got a song for you..."
telling this to a teacher of mine in high school
he gave me a sympathetic look, "that explains a lot"

i took a walk last night around midnight. i had no idea where i was going. people would stop
to ask if i needed a ride and look really confused when i told them no.
theres this park kind of near by, completely fenced up at night. i sat on the wall for a while
blowing bubbles for cars to drive through
walking around barefoot and writing messages in the sand
no one but me and that fucking possum
