Categories of Activity and Why There Is No Point
Nothing is free.
There must be some terrible hidden cost to this.
I must be paying something huge for this love and laughter and warmth.
Being in a structured family means that we have fewer avenues of self-expression. I need to be on my guard, to be very careful about my friend Megan. I can't fully be myself to them.
But is that really all that bad? I mean, yes, it sucks to think that at any minute I could be disowned and until then I am being a coward.
But it's kind of worth it.
