I was right about it being a nightmare at work. But instead of being sleepy as all get-out, it morphed into a migraine which first started out small, then worked its way into a huge dark chasm of pain. These are semi-common for me, and they sometimes happen when I have little sleep for a few days. And they always, always happen right behind my right eye, which compounds the pain even further, not to mention having it sap my strength to a near zero. Once that happens, I become very nauseous. I came extremely close to asking my supervisor to let me leave a little early at 3am instead of spending an extra hour or two of overtime as I've been doing lately. Close, but luckily a co-worker let me have a couple of aspirin pills an hour before it got *really* bad. Talk about 'in the nick of time'...
