A month ago(dang it's taken me a long time to be able to type this all up) I went to both the FL dates of the Revival Tour. It's a folk tour created by Chuck Ragan. This run included Chuck, Tommy Gabel, Dan Andriano and Cory Branan. Greenland is Melting had a guest appearance as well. Prior to going I had gotten the ok to record Tom's sets.
The first stop was Orlando. I got there way too early and wandered around by myself. I did find some train tracks though! There was a guy there making a documentary about the tour and interviewed various people in line. I was first in line, so he ended up interviewing me last. He asked what the Revival Tour was to me and my thoughts on it. I said that it was good friends coming together to play music and have a good time. He asked if that was it? And I said basically, yes. I gave the best response that he had gotten.
I ended up making the cut! I come in at the 2 minute mark, right before Dan's footage. My voice sounds so high pitched.

I was supposed to have a pass, but then the venue doesn't have passes. I was a little worried about using my video camera(I learned not to mention video in some situations since NYC), but once the show started and Tom was about to go I decided fuck it, I got the ok, I'm just going to record him. And I did with no problems. I only recorded Tom's parts since he was the only ok for Orlando. This tour is amazing! Everyone comes out at once and plays each artists' songs together. Then they all have sets where others will join them. For the finale they're all on stage again. It's continuous too, no breaks. Over 3 hours straight of music and good times. I took danced, sang, took pics and recorded all night. Dan mentioned his sound being off an it definitely was, I went to pick up one of my cameras that were near his cords and got shocked. Nothing too bad. I had requested "Untitled" from the Acoustic E.P. aka "Armageddon" aka"From Hoboken to L.A." and Tom played it. I wish I could have seen the look on my face when it started. I was stoked! Downtown Orlando is insane on the weekends. There were cops and people everywhere. Even people preaching on a corner at 2am.
This hit 2,000 views today, stoked on that.
