Have you come across this?

And given that you live round the corner, even if we don't even manage to meet in person, can I finally convince you to try and make a regular appointment to teach me how to drive a sewing machine? (all previous attempts miserably failed and ended up in tangled thread and crumpled fabric :( )

no i hadn't found that particular gem.. thanks...

As for sewing.. my door is always open.. just let me know when..

I'm intending to do some sewing stuff this weekend if you want to come round.. Do you have a machine yourself? If not can you borrow one? I'm not sure I can procure one myself.. I don't mind you using my machine but soemtimes its easier to have your own..

One piece of advice I can give you before a session is it is much easier for you if i can train you on the machine you intend to use later on as each machine is different and so you have to get used to their quirks.. Kinda like Cars.

ok, I've no escuse to get my act together now.
I do not have my sewing machine yet, but I've been considering one for a long time. I think the time to get one is coming nearer, and as soon as I do get hold of one I'll come and pester you.
Question: do you know of anyone who would be interested of buying a second hand knitting/ribbing machine with some accessories (lace carriage, punch up cards, cone winder) to go with it? it does require some TLC because it hasn't benn used for sometime, but the mechanism works fine. Selling this would automatically provide funds for a sewing machine...

It would be useful to contact you by email, but I don't have an address. If you don't mind, could you send me an email (you'll find my address on my user-info page).
