So, Shannon, my boss, recently started her latest tattoo. And it has
made me want mine that much more, at least the outline work, so that I
can have something.
Those of you that have read my journal since its inception, or those
you curious enough to go back that far know what I want, those of you
that don't, allow me to give a little description. It's going to
be a picture of Eeyore, the Disney version, sitting on top of a hill,
his back to you and he'll be looking over his shoulder, a rain cloud
above him and maybe the sun peeking out from behind that rain
cloud. Grey probably, I much preferred him when he was gray as
opposed to the blue that they have made him. But the blue is a
nice color too, grey however is a manlier color, so I'll probably go
for that. This one is going to have a lot of color, so I need to
find someone that is capable of doing really nice color work, as well
as cartoons, though I don't suppose it would be hard to trace lines, if
that is how he/she is going to do it.
When I first imagined this I thought it was a relatively original idea
but I must have seen it before or something because I have come across
a similar picture on the web, I should probably print one out for when
I got to the tattoo shop to get started on it. Which reminds me,
I have to remember to ask Shannon what shop she recommended. I
really want to get started on it within the next few months.
I probably won't be posting pictures of it, those of you that see me
will be able to see it, I don't really want anyone saying "Ooohh I like
that, I want one just like it."
I want something to be written under it in the style of writing that
they used in the Disney movie, but I'm not sure if I want it to be an
Eeyore quote or an original quote by me in an Eeyore style. I'll
decide at some point, I can get it added at any time I suppose.
That one's going to be on my calf; right or left, I'm not sure probably
right, but the other calf is going to have Tigger maybe, or perhaps
Eeyore again in a different pose.
Then I have to go about getting some Japanese Kanji or Katakana, but I
want to find someone that can make those tattoos look like actual brush
strokes rather than "block letters". And there are the
roses, red and black, I need someone really good with shading for
those, especially the black one. There are so many that I want, I
just don't know how I'm going to make it all work together. I'll
find a way but for now I've just got to save up the money while getting
myself out of debt, so that I can actually get the damn things.
Not to mention there are still some piercings that I want to get too.
Farewell for now.
P.S. Any advice on artist, shop, or anything else is appreciated.
P.P.S. Yes I know that I spelled grey in two different ways, I could never figure out which way I like better.
