So in one of my communities there's a topic about phobias and I was wondering:
What is one of your phobias? Or if you dont have ANY (cause you think youre so tuff), what is something I dont know about you that is interesting? Dont lie and say you dont have ANYTHING.
Lets here it! I'll start:
i have a weird phobia...
BUTTONS.
I freaking hate buttons! I remember being like...in 5th grade and my best friend and I used to always put on plays for our parents and friends. I remember she gave me a shirt to dress the part of a boy and it had BUTTONS on it. EW. It immediately grossed me out and I told her I couldnt wear it and she got all pissed off at me. I have NEVER worn a button shirt in my life by choice. EVER. My work uniform last year had buttons on it and so I had to wear an undershirt so it wouldnt touch my skin. Its like button-skin contact that seriously freaks/grosses me out. No one understands it. but ew. Its gotten better, I used to not even be able to touch buttons. I remember in high school we had a choir concert and we had to wear a button downed shirt and i went out and bought an identical shirt but with metal clasps. My mom would bring home cute polos from hollister and i said HELL NO return that. lol I have never worn a button shirt since elementary school...well I have but not by choice so much and there HAS to be an undershirt underneath, or it's just not happening. I remember one of my good friends use to throw buttons and me and torment me with them..dont try to now..it doesnt bother me as much anymore, but it still makes me want to cringe and uncomfortable. but man it used to freak me out back in the day. i remember last year I had an 'on your own' class that was to help you be indepedent and to my horror we had to learn to sew buttons on a shirt. At first I didnt do it and i was like 'just cant' when she asked why i couldnt and I felt stupid so i sucked it up and basically wanted to pass out the whole time I was sewing the button on this fabric. EW. fuck those buttons, just fuck them. Just like a vegetarian wont eat meat, i wont wear buttons. Ive been button free since I was in elementary school :)
But its not all buttons, like on my hollister pants..the bettys..those dont bother me..cause they are bigger or something. its the small ones, ewww. makes me cringe.
