Weekend was so busy.
Friday night was the dance-- I chaperoned a group of middle school students dance placidly to hip-hop and enthusiastically to hair metal-- with my lovely lovely co-workers. Got home laaaate; I don't think we're ever going to decorate with fake snow EVER AGAIN.
Saturday was the Craft Fair! I will soon be updating the
Craft Blog with details. A short summary would go: OMFG NEEDLE-FELTED ANIMALS SELL LIKE HOTCAKES, AND THEN YOU GET COMMISSIONS. Also! I sold the bear head. Gwen, it's safe to visit again.
AND THEN WE ALMOST GOT KILLED BY A TRUCK. We were driving to skating, and some idiot in a truck tried to go the wrong way on our one-way, ran over a curb, hit a sign, stopped about ten feet from us, AND THEN KEPT GOING. Thankfully, by that time, to our right.
Sunday was the gig at Smokey's, which is several HOURS of marching a playing. At least we get paid! (...I mis-typed that as "pain." That, too.)
This has been a caps-lock-full-post. Well, it was that kind of weekend. (And I "get" to teach three extra hours every morning this week! Which means that I get no prep! Wheeeeee!)
